A drop-down window will open. Just select Game Settings. All the installed Call of Duty franchise games will be shown accordingly. Head over to the Modern Warfare or Warzone interface. Here you will see Text & Spoken Language in English by default. Just click on it and choose your preferred language from the list.

Not sure if this works but in your main folder of WaW on version.inf Language=255. not sure if that changes it to English for you. Not sure if english is 255 but mine is. Mine is also set at 255. I'll check if there are any number to change the language but i think that might not change the problem. #2.
